What is SangatConnect?
SangatConnect is a free platform for sangat to discover where Gurbani kirtan, katha, and dhadi vaaran are happening — in their city, across their country, and around the world. It is not a booking service, not a marketplace, and not a social network. It is a quiet, honest directory of pracharaks and events, built for one purpose: so sangat can find where Waheguru's kirtan is being sung.
Who is it for?
SangatConnect serves the entire sangat — those who follow their favourite kirtaniyas across cities, families planning a yatra, elders who rely on someone else to find the schedule, youth discovering Gurbani for the first time, and pracharaks who want their schedule visible to the world without needing a website or social media presence.
Our Promise
Free, always
SangatConnect is free for sangat and free for pracharaks. There are no premium listings, no featured placement fees, and no plans to introduce them.
No advertisements
The experience is never interrupted by ads. The sacred should not share a page with a commercial. This is a firm commitment, not a marketing claim.
Honest data
Events are never presented as confirmed unless they have actually been confirmed. Unconfirmed events are clearly marked as awaiting confirmation. We do not inflate certainty to drive engagement.
Bilingual respect
Gurmukhi is treated as an equal — not a translation, not a footnote. Every entity name appears in both English and Gurmukhi script, side by side, always.
How it is built
SangatConnect is built and maintained by Taaj Studios as a sewa project. It runs without investor pressure, without ad revenue, and without a growth-at-all-costs mandate. It will be updated carefully and with attention — never rushed, never cluttered.
